Many people consider reading and writing to be basic skills, or skills for life’ but in today’s society, information and communication technology (ICT) is just as important, especially in the workplace.

3tc aims to enable all adults to have the ICT skills they need to learn effectively, to become active citizens in the information age and to contribute to the success of the economy.

We offer a range of courses designed to equip you with the necessary skills to meet the changing demands for futureemployment. The training ranges from basic level computing to more advanced use. 3tc offers a relaxed andfriendly environment in which to raise your self esteem and aspirations.

Eligibility

All 3tc Life Skills courses are FREE to qualifying peoplewho live in the Sefton Pathways areas S1 & S2 covering postcodes L20, L21 & L30.

This project may attract unemployed and low paid workers, people in unpaid work and volunteers.

Course length: 24 weeks. 1 day per week.
Course location: Choose from one of our Community Outreach venues in Bootle, Netherton or 3tc Waterloo.

Course cost: FREE
Course length: 12 weeks. Half day per week. 9.30am-12.30pm
Course location: 3tc, Waterloo.
Course content: ECDL Advanced Spreadsheets is vital for anyone who regularly uses spreadsheets to analyse data and create reports that require a level of skill beyond that of a basis user. It will enable you to turn data into a powerful asset and to use the advanced tools available onstandard spreadsheets including:
