3tc is a new breed of company, one that places the people it serves - the local community - first. It is passionate about the use of ICT for regeneration, and forging strong social ties, along with increased access to information.

We provide the highest standards of customer service and commitment that you would expect from a leading ICT services provider, however unlike our competitors we also invest in community regeneration.
The voluntary and community sector provides essential, life-enhancing services to the most vulnerable people in our society. ICT can help these organisations to develop their communications and fundraising activities. However the cost of implementing ICT, along with a lack of interest in the sector from many ICT service providers has allowed a 'digital divide' to emerge. To address this 3tc was formed in 2002 as a registered charity and company limited by guarantee.
When opening our flagship technology centre in Crosby Road North, Stephen Timms, MP, the government minister for e-commerce and corporate social responsibility referred to the company as "a unique initiative, a new way forward and a model for others to follow across the UK".
3tc offers help and support for voluntary and community groups that want to exploit ICT. This includes dealing with initial enquiries, business planning, skills development, IT environments, network provision and multimedia projects.
We use our considerable experience and expertise to enable SMEs and public sector organisations tobe innovative with new technology. As a not-for-profit organisation, 3tc uses its earnings to deliver grassroots projects that make ICT accessible to groups facing social exclusion.
Thus we are able to offer excellent services and value for money, as well as making a positive contribution to local communities.
